About Your Trainer
Maria Ryan, CPDT, has been training dogs since 1996. Animal behavior became a strong interest for her. Maria began using different training techniques and training equipment such as the Gentle Leader head collar and clickers. Maria attended her first conference specializing in positive methods of training, sponsored by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. This was the beginning of a whole new world for Maria. She attends conferences directed at research based methods. She continues to travel throughout the United States attending continuing education courses and schools. Studying with top world-renowned trainers and animal behaviorists, Maria has made a commitment to herself, pets and their owners to serve them and educate them with the knowledge she obtains and will continue to gain in the future.
Maria wants to help you and your pet have positive relationship! One way to accomplish that is through training. So, don’t give up on your pets or yourself.
